HUH!?
An exclamation, enunciated in a goose-like fashion, used in questions to invite agreement or further comment or to express a lack of understanding.
When Ryan worked at CCG he conducted a social experiment to see if the over saturation of the word “huh” would infect his coworkers forcing them to use the word. Emily Ashford became Ryan’s first guinea pig after Ryan snuck up behind her and exclaimed, “HUH!?” It sounded rather goose like and scared Emily half to death. Over the next few weeks Ryan continued to startle Emily with his goose-like “HUH!?” while also introducing it upon others including the general manager Jon Guidry, who became the biggest supporter of the “HUH!?” Slowly, the ignorant exclamation spread throughout CCG until everyone was saying “HUH!?” and the entire staff sounded unschooled.
After the “HUH!?” craze Ryan attempted to shift the staff to the more respectable “Pardon?” but it never caught on.
