Jaci Lauve
A loyal friend and former lauver; Ryan and Jaci both went to Tara High School in Baton Rouge, LA. They met on the bus to Thespian Conference in 1998 sporting their blue conference shirts. On the bus ride to Natchitoches, LA Ryan lip-synched various songs to Jaci (including “My Heart Will Go On”) forcing Jaci to guess the songs. Ryan first introduced himself as “Waldo”, Jaci believed him until Nick Barbre and Matthew Ganacheau told her that was a lie, his name was Ryan, he lied all the time, and that there was an incident involving him dancing the Macarena on a table top at Taco Bell (Oddly this incident is missing from the GlossaRyan.)
In the spring of 1999 Jaci, along with Sarah Semen, had the most polished scene in Ryan’s play “Showtime at the Inferno” though little time was actually spend on said scene. Jaci, Sarah, and Lauren Link ultimately became known to Ryan as The Hoes.
In May of 1999, Jaci and Ryan, along with about 20 or so friends, went to see “Star Wars: Episode One - The Phantom Menace” on opening day at Citiplace. It was revealed, by Ryan, on this rather dissapointing day that Jaci reproduced asexually.
Jaci graduated with Ryan’s brother, Craig Saucier, in 2001. After high school, Jaci, Gretchen Johnson, Evan Barnett, and Ryan started to hang out after Gretchen and Evan broke up. Eventually Ryan started dating Gretchen and Jaci and Evan began to date. It was awkward. Both relationships were secret until everything came out one night in a drunken mess at Bonnie’s House.
One summer Saturday in 2002, Jaci and Ryan had lunch at DeAngelo’s Pizzeria Company on Coursey Blvd. Their waiter was Jason Ortego who told them that it was his last day and that DeAngelo’s was hiring, so Ryan acquired an application. Several days later Ryan went in for an interview with Michelle Cardia and was subsequently hired. Not long after, Jaci was hired to work at DeAngelo’s but she had serious problems pretending to like people. There was also the issue of The Hargroder, who Jaci did not get along with. After Jaci’s demise she continued to give the perpetually car-less Ryan rides to work in her car MaiTai. On the evening of Halloween 2002, Jaci assisted Ryan in his transformation to Norman Bates’ Mother from the film “Psycho” for the costume contest at DeAngelo’s that Ryan won.
Over the years Jaci has become one of the only people to come close to understanding the madness inside Ryan’s warped mind. It was with Jaci that Ryan created The Narrator Voice, Senor Frog, Grandpa Wiggly, and Grandma Nubb.
