Hall’s Pond Sanctuary

These two ducks quickly got in the water because, well, frankly, I had a bad experience with a duck once. The entire sanctuary is surrounded by an intricate series of bridges and paths. I'm just kidding, they're not intricate at all. The ducks, just before they attacked me. Some of the shallow areas of the swampy pond are gross. This is a little rock chair where I sometimes perch myself and ponder.
Perhaps if I had a professional camera this would have been more artistic. Or if I was a photographer. Ahh the gazebo. This would make an ideal setting for "A Mid-Summer Night's Dream." In a few weeks you won't even be able to see the gazebo from here. Willows.
Someone left the gate open. The entrance to the bridge. This black swan whispered, "This is fucked up," into my ear and then went on his way. Louisiana or Massachusetts? It looks more like fall, not spring.
When it rains a lot this actually becomes a bridge over troubled waters. This tree has down syndrome. I will revert to my previous inappropriate comment. A police officer told me, "This is where the gays come to have the sex." This path keeps going....
...and going.... ...because it goes in a circle. The sun setting in the distance. If I lived in a trailer, this is what I expect my backyard to look like. Candid shot of me crouching in the brush just before I jumped out to scare this old lady.
