And the SAG Award goes to…Mayor Carol Broussard
If you’re planning on heading down to Delcambre, Louisiana anytime soon, and I can’t imagine anyone is, make sure you pull your pants up. The Mayor of Delcambre, Carol Broussard, who is not a woman, doesn’t want saggy, baggy pants exposing any “private parts” in his fair city. If you do break the law, you will be fined $500 and could spend up to six months in prison, better known as the place where the baggy pants trend all began.
Just wear it properly. Cover your vital parts. I mean, if you expose your private parts, you’ll get a fine. If you walk up and your pants drop, you get a fine. They’re better off taking the pants off and just wearing a dress.
- Mayor Carol Broussard on baggy pants.
I find it ironic that Broussard suggested wearing a dress because anyone who has ever been to that part of Louisiana knows how men wearing dresses would be embraced. It just so happens that wearing a dress would also violate the new ordinance.
The Daily Iberian - Sagging bagged by town:
The ordinance states; “It shall be unlawful for any person in any public place or in view of the public to be found in a state of nudity, or partial nudity, or in dress not becoming to his or her sex, or in any indecent exposure of his or her person or undergarments, or be guilty of any indecent or lewd behavior.”
Personally, I hope some guy does start walking around Delcambre in a dress just so that he can throw that back in Broussard’s face after he’s arrested for cross-dressing.
So, Carol Broussard, mayor of Delcambre, LA; because you feel that public dress codes should be enforced with harsh penalties, because you encourage your townsfolk to spy on one another and report it to the police, and because your imposed restriction on freedom and rights appalls even the Chinese media , you are hereby chosen as the Freak of the Week.

This would clearly be an unenforcable law because it is technically UNCONSTITUTIONAL. It would also be ANTI-AMERICAN. It would clearly violate the first amendment right to freedom of expression. Carol Broussard is clearly a delusional, paranoid, nutcase.
And this assesment is from an independent and objective observer living in Scotland, Great Britain. Why don’t you Americans take more care over electing such idiots into positions of power. I’m British and even the thought of such a violation of basic freedom is enough to make me want to join the American Civil Liberties Union, ACLU.

I have now just joined the American Civil Liberties Union, ACLU, in contempt for Carol Broussard and the ANTI-AMERICAN law that he has proposed.
I live in Scotland and I intend to contact the ACLU to find out what I can do to see and end to this proposal.
Come on America! If someone in Scotland can take the time and effort to do this then why can’t you?
The world needs a strong and free America now more than ever!
