HOW TO: open a bottle of wine without a corkscrew
A few weeks ago a lady friend and I found ourselves with a bottle of wine and no corkscrew. It was late, all of the stores were closed, and the nearest convenience store was manned by a clerk who had never even heard of a corkscrew. Seriously. We ended up going to a local pub where we had to bride a hilarious old Irish bartender for his corkscrew. Next time this happens to me I’ll be prepared thanks to this video tutorial.
