Scrabulous Shuttered
Scrabulous has been shut down until further notice. Hasbro sent a legal notice to Facebook asking them to block the game. I can’t bear the thought that I may never get to kick Sarah’s ass again.
According to the New York Times Bits Blog, the decision to block Scrabulous for U.S. and Canadian users (it’s still available to Facebook users outside North America) was made by the Scrabulous developers, not Facebook. At least that’s what Facebook says. Why would anyone believe a website?
The developers of Scrabulous — the defendants — have set up a contact form for those who would like to stay in the loop.

or watch Ryan cry when i get BINGO after BINGO.

I don't cry…that much. And how would you know if I did? It's not like you can see me.
The last time I checked it was like 40-20 in favor of me. Or 60-30. Or 80-40. Or something…

This pisses me off, I was spanking both of you like sorority pledges.

Riiiiiiiiiight.
On a sidenote: I'm cross-publishing my posts on Megorious (like this one) over to Facebook via the blog/RSS importer. Then, via a handy Wordpress plugin (you really should switch, Thomas), comments made on my Facebook notes are imported to the corresponding post on Megorious. It's an endless loop.

thats amazing.
July 29th, 2008 at 10:54 am
Shut it.
July 29th, 2008 at 10:55 am
Enh, I really don't feel like rewriting my template all over again. Though that sounds tempting. Not that anyone comments on my facebook posts.

Subsequently, internet traffic to dictionary.com and Scrabble cheating sites will drop tremendously. The economy may collapse from all of the lost ad revenue and Facebook may have to sell themselves off to Microsoft.
July 29th, 2008 at 11:26 am
Dictionary.com is too cluttered and ugly and it doesn't have any of the "words" I like to play.
But you're right. I was watching this girl in one of my classes play and cheat the other. And she still lost. It's all about the colored squares. Therein lies the real power.

So finally my day has come. You nerds can't ruin my interesting conversation with phrases like "Triple word score," and other things I don't understand.
July 29th, 2008 at 11:28 am
Oh please, Katie. If there's one thing you understand, it's scoring.
