A Damn Good Reason NOT to Vote for McCain
The Senate voted 69-29 to pass the FISA Bill today. What’s the FISA Bill, you ask? Well, it allows for the government to spy on all citizens (that’s us) and provides immunity from prosecution for the telecom companies that make it possible.
John McCain was one of the 69 senators who voted to pass the bill. After the vote, they took a steaming dump on the Constitution. Barack Obama, and 28 other Democrats, remained loyal patriots and voted against the bill. Hillary Clinton didn’t even bother to show up for the vote. The official tally can be seen here.
