Star Trek vs. Star Wars
This is boldly beyond brilliance.
This is a cheesy (but funny) video Sarah and I made at my apartment during the wee hours of the morning. It’s an emulation of the film The Omen for Peg Aloi’s class Cinema and the Occult. The point was that we had twelve minutes of class time to give an oral presentation about the occult’s influence on the film. This video knocked eight minutes of that time right out. We had to include educational information but, as you will see, we didn’t take it very seriously. We did get an ‘A’ though. Watch for a cameo from Linus.
I don’t know who made this parody or how, but it’s well done and rather convincing.
If haven’t seen the trailer for the upcoming Michel Gondry comedy Be Kind Rewind, then you might not appreciate the following parody as much. Basically, the premise of Be Kind Rewind is that Jack Black and Mos Def work in a video store where all of the VHS tapes have been magnetically erased, so they take it upon themselves to recreate the films to the best of their abilities.
Well, someone has created yet another parody of The Dark Knight trailer in the style of Be Kind Rewind. It’s pretty funny.
This brilliant short film, about internet chatrooms if they were real, is one of the best videos on YouTube and definitely worth the ten minutes.
