24 Leads Emmy Nods
Topping off a creative, yet uneven season, Fox’s 24 scored 12 Emmy nominations, more than any other nominated series. ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy scored 11 nods (yawn). In addition to the best drama nod, Kiefer Sutherland was nominated again for best actor; while Gregory Itzin and Jean Smart were both nominated for their roles as the first family.
Better yet, but still somewhat depressing, were the four nominations for Fox’s canceled Arrested Development for best comedy series and best supporting actor for Will Arnet (Gob Bluth). The Office, Scrubs, and Curb Your Enthusiasm were also showered with comedy nods.
