Fall Premiere Week - Wednesday
ABC has the best Wednesday lineup by far, though the most talked about new show of the fall season, Pushing Daises, doesn’t debut until next Wednesday. Still, tonight does offer some shows worthy of a first look.
ABC has another freaking hour of Dancing with the Stars followed by the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff with a horrible name, Private Practice. But it’s ABC’s last show of the evening that I’ll be previewing. Dirty Sexy Money is about an attorney who takes over as chief counsel to a powerful family after his father dies in a mysterious plane crash. Sounds like LOST meets Six Feet Under meets Damages. The talented cast includes Peter Krause, Donald Sutherland and William Baldwin. Wait, William Baldwin isn’t talented.
CBS offers the controversial Kid Nation which sounds more like Survivor with children. Following that are the net’s usual lineup of Criminal Minds and CSI: New York.
NBC starts the night off with the inane Deal or No Deal but then picks things up with the remake of Bionic Woman with BSG’s Katee Sackhoff. Closing out the night is Life which looks to be formulaic.
The CW has a new episode of America’s Next Top Model followed by Gossip Girl.
Fox already premiered its lineup of Back to You, Till Death, and Kitchen Nightmares last week.
MEGORIOUS SKED
8:00 Back to You
8:30 The O’Reilly Factor (for additional conservative laughter)
9:00 Bionic Woman
10:00 Dirty Sexy Money

How was “Dirty Sexy Money”? I’m wondering if I should start taping it…..
I’ve seen a little bit about “Pushing Daisies” and I worry some of the story lines may be incredibly stupid. Guess we’ll wait and see!

I haven’t watched it yet, I’ll probably get around to it this weekend. I’ll let you know.

I watched Dirty Sexy Money. I liked it. I thought it was going to rip off Arrested Development, and although there are similar characters (Lindsay/Juliet), the show is going in a completely different direction, which is great.
